The Berwickshire coast has crystal clear waters, spectacular underwater scenery and an amazing assortment of marine life. This makes the whole area, and especially world famous St Abbs, a huge draw for divers.

Several local businesses offer facilities for divers, from boat charters to equipment hire and sale. And if you’ve never tried diving but fancy giving it a go, a wide range of training courses is available from qualified instructors.

For those who prefer to stay within sight of the shore, there are sandy bays which are good for snorkelling, surfing and body boarding.
