Eyemouth is one of the most popular venues in the Borders for events and festivals. The town has recently hosted a week-long Walking Festival, and the traditional music festival Both Sides of the Tweed was so successful in 2003 that it returned to even greater acclaim in 2004.
The area’s natural and cultural heritage is celebrated in annual events such as the East Berwickshire Natural History Festival (June), Eyemouth Herring Queen Festival (July) and Smugglers Christmas (December).
